One of the biggest blockbusters that stunned an entire generation, The Kerala Story is now returning with a sequel, and its motion picture is finally out. Carrying the same intensity, fear, and hard-hitting truth in every frame, The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond! is set to unveil its teaser on 30th January.
Inspired by absolutely true events and stark realities, The Kerala Story (2023) made waves with its bold and fearless narrative on love jihad and conversion. The film went on to become a rare ‘Black Swan event’ at the box office and also clinched the National Award in two categories. Now, producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah is all set to push boundaries even further with The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond.
The recently released motion poster is spine-chilling, unsettling, and brimming with raw rage. Featuring the haunting faces of women consumed by tears, fear, and anger, the poster strongly hints that the sequel will delve far deeper into terrifying realities than what audiences witnessed in the first installment. Undoubtedly one of the most disturbing motion posters to date, it promises petrifying truths that will unfold on the big screen.
Produced under the banner of Sunshine Pictures, The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond is directed by National Award winner Kamakhya Narayan Singh and written by Amarnath Jha and Vipul Amrutlal Shah. The film is co-produced by Aashin A. Shah, with music composed by Mannan Shaah and lyrics penned by Manoj Muntashir. The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond is slated for a theatrical release on 27th February 2026.
